The FruitLine Semi-candied fruit is obtained by means of a cold-working process which leaves the organoleptic characteristics of the original raw material unaltered. It’s low sugar content (45°-60° brix) gives the product a fresh and natural taste, also avoiding it freezing at negative temperature. In order to better preserve these features, the FruitLine Semi-Candied Fruit is kept in its own syrup (for a percentage of 20% in the unopened package). The product can be used in many different ways: as a decoration on ice cream portions (boxes and cups), to improve texture in ice cream and semifreddi preparations or as an ideal ingredient for producing ripples and other semi-finished preparations for hand-made ice cream.
